Alumni Association Network The School has developed a network of growing influence. Over 6,000 participants have attended the School’s seminars. Since 1999 a database of graduates has been developed and an active network of alumni established throughout the regions of the Federation that is unparalleled.
Educational Center in Golitsyno where MSPS holds its Federal Seminars. Many are now in influential positions — public figures, politicians, businessmen and journalists. Over 70 graduates of the School have been members of the Russian Federal Parliament. Over 200 have been elected to city, district and regional authorities. Many graduates are in senior administrative positions, including a Deputy Federal Minister for the Media, the Head of the Federal Treasury, a Presidential speech writer, and many others (See MSPS Top Appointments). The Alumni Association and its use of the School’s interactive website has provided alumni with a broad base of support which has helped improve legislation and other initiatives. Over 200 civic initiatives have been conceived and organised by School alumni (See List of MSPS Alumni Initiatives). Alumni Association members has risen to 2,817 (by the end of 2004).
Alumni Association Meetings October 12, 2005 Alumni Association meeting are held annually with prominent leaders of Western business and politics. Previous meetings included discussions with Kenneth Clarke (2004) and George Soros (2003).
